UPCOMING RELEASES!!!

Hi guys! Once again, it's Tris. If you couldn't already tell from the title, this post is going to be about upcoming releases. 

Veronica Roth:

Earlier this month I read an article about Veronica Roth teasing her new book "Carve the Mark" on a panel. It's going to be a duology and the first book is set to release on January 17, 2017. From what I read, it is set in space and the main character has to make some choice about saving himself or his family. I'm not positive about all of these facts, but the release date is for sure. 

James Dashner:

The final installment of The Maze Runner series is set to release this September!!!! It's called "The Fever Code", which is about Thomas's past and how he came to be involved in WICKED. James Dashner tweeted about this book and said to be prepared because it's a horror novel. The other books in the series weren't too violent, but this book may include some horror, but it's not official. This book is set to release in late September. I will definitely be doing a booktalk on my YouTube channel!!

Cassandra Clare:

I have no idea where to start with her books. She is working on the second book in the Dark Artifices series and another series called the Last Hours. The Last Hours is about the children of the characters of The Infernal Devices, so I'm SUPER EXCITED to read it!!!! I'm not for sure on this, but I think Tales From Shadowhunter Academy is going to be available in book form in late September or November. Cassandra Clare is an amazing author and I can't wait to see what's in store for her and her books!! Also Shadowhunters season 2 is in production!!!! January 2017 cannot get here soon enough!!

Marissa Meyer:

Marissa Meyer's first non Lunar Chronicles book is set to release this November. It's titled "Heartless" and it's her version about how the Queen of Hearts came to be the Queen of Hearts. I am very excited about this book mainly because I played the Queen of Hearts in my school's production of Alice in Wonderland, and I love everything about this character. Marissa Meyer writes amazing books, so I have very high expectations for this book. I will also being doing a booktalk about this book once I can get my hands on it. 

The Ending:

Well that's the end of my post about upcoming releases. All of these authors are amazing, and they're books definitely prove that. Shout out to Ella!! I miss you so much !! We need to start finding time to work on our book more. I'm really looking forward to what's in store for us, out YouTube channel, our blog, and our book!!

BOOK NERD PLEDGE AND TRADITIONS!

Hey guys! It's Tris! This post is going to consist of the book nerd pledge and some news about our channel. I am having trouble copying the link. Just go to Youtube and search for "Tris and Ella Reads".

The book nerd pledge was created by me and Ella as a secret pledge that only true book nerds should know. It can also be used to help find fellow book nerds, so you don't have to fangirl or fanboy alone. This is how it goes:

As I stated earlier, only true book nerds will know this pledge. It is very sacred because non book nerds will not understand any of the references. Please keep this in the book nerd community. 

Youtube Channel Update:

Ella and I have uploaded quite a few videos recently. It is with deepest regret that we will not have anymore conjoined videos for awhile. We will each do our own videos. In about a year and a half, we may be able to do conjoined videos together all the time. But as of right now, only solo videos will be uploaded. 

If you have seen our Last Reunion Video, then you know that Ella and I are about to slow down on posting. We will try to take turns every week. One person does a video, and one person does a blog post. 

If you haven't already noticed, we do not have any official book talk videos. Some are soon to come.

A Note to Ella:

If you are seeing this, I miss you a lot, even though it hasn't been long since we've seen each other. I haven't had the chance to work on you-know-what. Please email it to me as soon as you can. I miss you and hope to see you soon!!

We are quirky, weird, bookworms who love reading and writing. We are currently co-writing a fantasy series about vampires. We plan to have our series as a trilogy. We both read ALOT!!!!! We both noses in a book. We met at an academic summer camp for nerds a year ago and have been best friends since. We are each other's parabatai. (Cassandra Clare)

About Tris:

I (Tris) am a bookworm and an obsessed reader. I am in color guard for my school's marching band. I play the flute and some piano. You will see me playing the flute in some of our book tags. (Coming soon). The sports I play are volleyball and track, even though I'm not that good. I am in NJHS and theatre.  I am the quiet, composed, protective, and occasionally sarcastic one of the duo.

About Ella:

I (Ella) am also a bookworm and a writer but not as obsessed with writing as Tris is. I am in choir, art, and basketball. I play the piano and the saxophone. You will see me sing a lot, and I mean A LOT, in our videos. I am the quirky, weird, snappy, sarcastic, and insane one of the duo. Insane explains it all.

About our Book Channel:

On our book channel we will be discussing and sometimes "fangirling" over our favorite and most disliked books and book series. We will also be talking about our writing experiences.
